Lacey Williams is a student at the University of Lynchburg currently studying Biomedical Science. She is a graduate of Kempsville Academy and began her college career at Mary Baldwin Universities Program for the Exceptionally Gifted at age 12.

Lacey has worked in fundraising and marketing for various charities, political campaigns, tutoring and as a caregiver for her elderly relatives. She possesses excellent communication skills and excels in the fields of Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. Moreover, she is proficient in social media and possesses excellent investigative and research skills.

As a survivor of campus sexual assault, Lacey understands the importance of having a safe and secure campus and learning environment. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she has a unique insight and brings a diverse perspective to Situational Awareness. She has experienced the college environment as a residential and commuter student. Coming from a family with a long history of law enforcement and public safety professionals, it is no wonder she has a natural inclination toward Public Safety.

Lacey can offer insight into the Title IX process, Individualized Education Program & 504 plans, Dating & Domestic Violence, Campus Social Life, and Diversity and Inclusion efforts toward LGBTQ+ and Disabled Individuals.
